We had such an amazing experience with Kara for our beach photos! From the very beginning, she was professional, friendly, and made the whole session feel relaxed and fun. She helped guide us with poses while still capturing natural, candid moments.
The scenery, and timing were perfect, and she knew exactly how to use the beach setting to create beautiful shots. The final photos turned out absolutely stunning—great composition, vibrant colors, and so many special moments captured. We almost lost my Mom this last year so these photos are very special to me!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about working with Maui Photographer Girl! From maternity photos to baby pictures, family portraits, extended family photos and even our Christmas card photos, she has captured every special season of our lives so beautifully.
She has such a warm and calming presence that immediately puts everyone at ease, which is especially important during maternity sessions (including some nude!) and when little keiki are involved. I always felt completely comfortable around her, and she made the entire experience feel natural and fun instead of posed or stressful. She’s easy to work with, flexible, and patient.
Her editing skills amazing. The final images still look natural and true to life. She has a true talent for capturing genuine moments and turning them into memories we’ll treasure forever.

Kara is absolutely amazing! Kara started taking our pictures 4 years ago. Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Christmas, extended family pics, and everything in between. She offers a variety of locations, props, and techniques. She is always open to questions about clothing and shares ideas about the desired outcome. She offers suggestions on the best ways to print and has no problem warming up to reluctant children, managing to capture both portrait and candid expressions. Watching her grow her craft year by year has been a special treat, and I am so happy to have so many beautiful pictures for years to come. We love Kara so much; we will continue coming back year after year. My only regret is that we hadn't met her sooner. I look forward to working with Kara for years to come
